Important Notes:

Distance between Khartoum and Port Sudan is 800km covered in 01h:50min by domestic flight and 10-12 hrs by road.

All flights from Khartoum to Port Sudan depart in the afternoon and return early evening back to Khartoum. Therefore when connecting from/to an International flight a half day stop-over will be necessary.

Transfer service to/from Port Sudan by road is not allowed.

Seaman book is not recognised for visa on arrival by Sudan immigration. A visa must be obtained and will be stamped in the National passport along with a Police Registration stamp.

Visa on arrival is limited to Egyptian, Malaysian, and Syrian nationals only. Turkish nationals under process for this category.

Nationalities which require a higher level of approval are American, Pakistani and Iranian.
